The leading theory, at the moment, is that it is a massive online/offline game, with prizes hidden all over the United Kingdom and the United States. This theory has support first from those who posited that the “more” of “Pottermore” stands for “Massive Online Role-playing Game” and then from recent reports that claim to have a leaked document revealing certain details.
However, there are those guessing that the leaked document is just a red herring. Which is why I adore this fandom, because that is not only entirely possible and plausible, but also a level of skepticism that no other “leaked” document would ever be met with.
And so, tomorrow (well, today for all you Brits), we shall discover how Jo Rowling has managed this mischief.
And I am finally happy that I normally am up at the shockingly indecent hour of 7 o’clock in the morning in order that I might find out the news when it happens.
(Though I fully admit to hoping it’s not a game! Crossing my fingers!)
And then, once that’s all been revealed and taken care of, the next question is: should I plan to take vacation time on the day Deathly Hallows: Part 2 is released, or suffer through a full day of work after the midnight showing, just to prove I can?
